PKIF OCSP Plug-in for Microsoft Windows
The PKIF OCSP Plug-in for Microsoft Windows provides a revocation provider for applications enabled using Microsoft CAPI. The plug-in can be configured to provide revocation status information from a variety of sources, including:
- CA-delegated OCSP responders identified in AIA extensions
- Enterprise OCSP responders
- Certificate revocation lists, retrieved from locations identified in CRL DP extensions or from enterprise directory servers
The configuration guide describes how to install and configure the plug-in. The plug-in uses standard PKIF user interface components.
The PKIF OCSP Plug-in for Microsoft Windows has been tested on Windows 2000 SP4, Windows XP SP1 and SP2 and Windows 2003. It has been tested with a variety of applications including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Infopath and Internet Explorer.
