PKIF OCSP Plug-in for Microsoft Windows
The PKIF OCSP Plug-in for Microsoft Windows provides a revocation provider for applications enabled using Microsoft CAPI. The plug-in can be configured to provide revocation status information from a variety of sources, including:
- CA-delegated OCSP responders identified in AIA extensions
- Enterprise OCSP responders
- Certificate revocation lists, retrieved from locations identified in CRL DP extensions or from enterprise directory servers
Deployment Features
New! The PKIF OCSP plugin now includes an installer customization wizard. This allows system administrators to produce an .mst file that can be used along with the msi-based installer to easily deploy the OCSP plugin with preconfigured settings within their organization. All settings that can be altered from the configuration utility can be customized using this mst file, including:
- PKI environment details
- RFC 5280 path processing inputs
- Log locations and levels
The configuration guide describes how to customize and redistribute as well as how to install and configure the plug-in. The plug-in uses standard PKIF user interface components.
The PKIF OCSP Plug-in for Microsoft Windows has been tested on with a variety of applications including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Infopath and Internet Explorer on a variety of Windows platforms.
