Detailed Description

The IPKIFRevocationStatus interface provides a means of the determining the revocation status of a single certificate or of all certificates containing in a certification path. This interface is not typically invoked directly by applications and is usually invoked internally by PKIF components as part of a path validation operation. PKIF provides one mediator and two colleagues that implement this interface: IPKIFRevocationStatusMediator, IPKIFX509CRLChecker and IPKIFOCSPChecker.
